Description:
This interactive book allows you to help your children learn the basic concepts of : on, under, over, and next to. place a sentence strip on the page, have the child read the sentence and then place the icon in the correct position in relationship to a table that is printed on the page. Place Velcro in the appropriate positions in around the table. There are 6 different sentence strips per concept. Move the sentences around in the book so that the child does not memorize the book and encourages the student to read the sentences more carefully. General vocabulary includes: table, laundry basket, butterfly, present, and book. Also included are a set of icons to use to build a sentence using the PECS system. These icons encourage the learning of the sight words of: the and is.
